Zak McNeil recently worked on Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, as well as scoring director John Barr's latest film, Blood and Money.
Raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, McNeil started studying classical piano at a young age. He graduated from the University of Arizona, studying composition and studio recording. Upon finishing his degree, McNeil moved to Los Angeles to work at composer Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions.
McNeil has been involved in numerous projects since moving to LA, including Disney's Christopher Robin and Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
